FFL was established in 1949 in Listowel, Ontario under the ownership and management of Bert Fisher. The mill began producing standard poultry feeds and gradually grew over time to include specialized broiler and turkey feeds and custom broiler breeder and swine feeds. In 1995, the mill was moved to its current location southwest of Listowel, where it operates today. FFL remains a family owned business with Dr. Rae Fischer serving as President and CEO.
Research and development has been, and continues to be, an important component in the ongoing enhancement of FFL's nutritional programs. We are dedicated to high quality manufacturing principles, continuous improvement, and innovative, leading edge, scientifically driven development of our poultry and swine feeding programs. We are able to take our research directly on farm, measuring real results in real time. Additionally, the employees at FFL work continuously to ensure our nutritional specifications are sound and results exceed expectations. Our performance stems from the use of state of the art production equipment and a superior manufacturing process in our HACCP certified mill.
