Fischer Feed's patented REDvantage™ Prestarter is a unique, innovative product available to broiler chicks and turkey poults.

It is well documented that any delay in feed or water consumption post hatch can result in depressed growth rates and weakened immune response. Early access to feed is critically important, and research has shown that a contrast in feed colour, specifically the colour red, attracts young birds and can have a significantly positive effect on consumption. FFL applied this knowledge by creating REDvantage™ -a red prestarter to stimulate early feed intake.

REDvantage™ is fed for the first four to five days in the barn. Early feed intake helps get the gizzard functioning, increases the length of intestinal villi, and helps build and strengthen the bird's digestive system.

As the diagrams below illustrate, our results to date show improved market weight gain over the bird's first 7 days in the barn, and this has translated directly to higher market weights and better over all flock performance.
